To obtain a position for a dealer at a casino, your expected to be knowledgeable in dealing at least two table games. You will have to pass an audition in the table games with the respective casino before being considered for hire. Poker: This class should cover the special and unique requirements of dealing poker. Extensive hands on training begins with terminology used in poker, shuffling the deck, boxing, pitch and place cards, cutting cheques, changing currency. Instruction also covers protection of the game, dealing time, dealer relief, audition techniques and job Interviews.
Baccarat: This class offers extensive hands on training beginning with the rules, regulations, and object of the game. Then the student advances on to learn about the equipment,dealer and caller positions and duties, bank hand wagers and player hand wagers , card values and third card values.Training continues with the proper handling of cheques, distribution of the cards, commission markers, and casino commissions. The class also provides instruction on protecting the game, audition techniques, and job interviews.
Pai Gow Chinese Dominoes: The class begins with the background and principles of Pai Gow and is introduced to Chinese Dominoes. Training in the Four Basic Rule as of Play, exceptions of play and house rules, totaling, shuffling and delivery of Chinese dominoes. The student advance to learn about the moving bank, making pay-offs, deducting the 5% commission, check cutting, sizing and making change.
